Green may not be specific enough

What is Green? Many companies have stretched the meaning. So what do I consider green? More specifically what does green mean? I consider it to be renewable within an acceptable amount of time. So would you use plastic? If it was recyclable, and possible used from recycled material itself. Plastic is a great material to use. It has been overused and it is retracting some now. If you are going to use Plastic, make sure it is easy to recycle. So take the whole item and throw it in the recycle bin.

If i’m going to put a counter top in my house, would I use granite? Marble? It may have some great properties but can you get more granite in a 10 year span? Nope. Can we take the waste of a granite or marble and remake another material? yes. But can that be now recycled?

Lets define Renewable to be within 25 years. Now that is the goal, work back each item to match that definition.
